We’re looking for a strategic leader who is excited by the opportunity and challenge of creating new, value-driven functionsThe Chief Finance and Administration Officer will provide vision and strategic leadership to iGaming Ontario’s finance, enterprise risk, internal audit, facilities, and procurement functions  

 

The Chief Finance and Administration Officer is a member of the senior leadership team and reports to iGaming Ontario’s Executive Director, who is its Chief Executive OfficerThe incumbent will champion iGaming Ontario’s strategic plan, driving results, optimizing revenue and resources, and ensuring programs and services continue to meet business needsAs a dynamic, innovative and inspiring leader, you will build a divisional management team, and collaborate with your senior leadership team colleagues to provide exceptional client services. 

 

The Chief Finance and Administration Officer acts as a key point of contact for stakeholders, including the Ministry of the Attorney General, which represents our shareholder, the Government of Ontario, gaming operators and the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario, which is our parent agency and regulator.   

 

Ideal Qualifications 

 

  • Senior Leadership: related work experience in a senior leadership role, with experience advising and influencing colleagues, thinking innovatively and creatively.  Ability to clearly communicate vision, garner support, champion change, and model expected behaviours.
  • Relationship Management: exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work in partnership and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders which includes over 45 operators from across the globe.  Demonstrated experience managing relationships in a high profile, fast paced environment.  Experience successfully supporting a Board of Directors to ensure positive outcomes. 
  • Industry Experience: extensive experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis. Knowledge of the lottery and gaming industry is highly preferred.
  • Regulatory Compliance: experience with regulatory and compliance issues specific to the gaming industry.
  • Education: Degree in business administration, or a related field; Certified Professional Accountant designation desired.  

 

The successful candidate must be eligible to work in Canada and will be subject to a criminal background check.

 

This position currently offers a hybrid work location. iGaming Ontario has implemented a minimum three-day per week in-office schedule. iGaming Ontario reserves the right to change this policy and its office location at any time.
