Preparation of customer orders, receiving of non-bulk material movement of goods in the facility are done in a safe and efficient manner as per current work instruction in place. The utilization of the handling equipment is done in a safe manner and kept in good clean condition.

•  Applying the required bar code labels for specific customers as required.

•  Only acceptable pallets are used for the preparation of customer orders.

•  Placing product in the racks of Building #4following racking restrictions.

•  Ensuring picking locations are replenished accordingly daily.

•  Ensuring stock rotation is done based on FIFO (first in, first out).

•  Reporting shortages to the Shipping Supervisor or the Lead Hand in his absence.

•  Ensuring T.D.G. Regulations are respected when handling, loading, or unloading products.

•  Transferring merchandise from one pallet type to another as required and minimizing damage in the process.

•  Moving pallets of product to and from various locations to maximize warehouse space as per instructions received from the Shipping Supervisor or his designate.

•  Manual loading or unloading of containers or trailers as required.

•  Ensuring that the local carrier is loaded promptly in the morning when assigned by the Shipping Supervisor.

•  Removing leakers and damaged goods in a prompt manner to avoid further damage to the finished goods.

•  Maintaining a clean working area in conformance with the standards for the facility.

•  Verify any orders upon request.

•  Emptying the garbage containers in the distribution area every morning at the start of the shift.

•  Reporting damage to the equipment, property or finished goods to the Shipping supervisor or the Lead Hand in his absence.

•  Maintaining a clean working area in conformance with the standards of this facility.

•  Maintaining the assigned lift truck in good working condition and reporting problems with this equipment to their supervisor by filling out the Lift truck daily report.

•  Performing special assignments as necessary to support the operation.

•  Providing stock checks when needed.

•  Verifying orders and trailers when required.

 

High School Graduate or 1 year of appropriate experience in a similar distribution environment.

•            Skill to communicate in the plant environment.

•            Knowledge of Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System.

•            Knowledge of Static Prevention.

•            Knowledge of Fire Prevention/Safety Instructions as per the Emergency Manual.

•            General knowledge of ISO 9001:2015

•            Computer skills appropriate to work on the PC and AS400 applications.

•            Knowledge and skills appropriate to work with the RF system

•            T.D.G.

•            Lift Truck Driver, regular and high beam
