Job Title: D365 Developer

Reporting to: Business Applications Manager

Location: Mississauga


Greenfield is looking for a D365 Developer to join our growing team. 

 

Position Overview:

 

The D365 Developer will effectively develop, deploy, and manage applications/integrations to enhance business functionality of our ERP system, while maintaining the integrity of our development process.  Greenfield runs in a 24/7 environment; some duties are required to be performed during off hours.

Who You Are: 

  • Completion of a related technical post-secondary diploma/degree
  • 4+ years in a developer role
  • Must be able to think critically and adapt to solve problems to meet business objectives
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders
  • Ability to foster collaborative, cross department relationships to meet common objectives
  • Ability to maintain composure and instill confidence
  • Strong understanding of development concepts, deployment, and troubleshooting techniques
  • Must be willing to travel to meet business objectives, approx. 5%

 

Your Experience Should Include:

  • 4+ years of .NET and C# programming
  • 3+ years of X++ development
  • 3+ years of D365 system integration experience (EDI, eCommerce, CRM etc)
  • 3+ years of working with DevOps CI/CD implementation and support experience
  • 1+ years of developing PowerApps and Power Automate solutions
  • 1+ years of SQL scripting experience with relational DBs
  • 1+ years of Azure Cloud Development
  • Technical/Functional knowledge in Dynamics D365 ERP modules – Finance, Accounts, Payable, Production, Accounts Receivable, Warehousing, Logistics and Sales.

 

Bonus Points if you Have Any of These:

  • MB-500: Microsoft Dynamics 365: Finance and Operations Apps Developer

 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Design and code applications per requirements captured in Functional design documents and technical design documents where needed.
  • Configures and administers D365 F&O integrations and data management solutions
  • Collaborate with project teams to analyze and validate project requirements
  • Design, develop and document integrations between applications
  • Uphold development security best practices
  • Promote code changes through established Unit, Integrated, and User Acceptance Testing processes with Visual Studio 2019+
  • Develop and troubleshoot using general programming languages C#, .NET & X++ for D365 extensions and integrations
  • Perform data migrations and integrations using ODATA and Data Management Framework Entities
  • Implement REST API Endpoints to external systems integrations
  • Build, support, and maintain development using DevOps and CI/CD best practices
  • Perform gap analysis between D365 functionality and business requirements
  • Assist with D365 updates and migration of environments across sandboxes, UAT, and into Production
  • Provides technical support for escalated incidents
  • Develop and maintain systems-related technical documentation to facilitate implementation, ongoing application support, and internal cross training
  • Ability to mentor and collaborate with junior IT team members
  • Follow Information Technology policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned
