Job Title: People & Culture Generalist
Department: People and Culture
Reporting to: Director of People and Culture
Location: Brampton
Greenfield is looking for a People & Culture Generalist to join our growing team.
Position Overview: This position is responsible for supporting the People & Culture function for the Brampton packaging plant in the areas of employee relations, recruitment and onboarding of new employees, supporting policy compliance, and general People & Culture responsibilities.

Your Experience Should Include
- Individual must have high regard for confidentiality and ability to communicate with sensitive information.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills paired with an ability to manage multiple priorities with competing demands.
- Formal Post-Secondary Diploma in the area of Human Resource Administration
Job Responsibilities
- Act as the main site resource for HRIS program. Review electronic timesheets, oversee time away entitlements and work schedules and address issues as necessary.
- Track absenteeism by department and prepare monthly summaries.
- Update trackers and dashboards, and report on KPI’s
- Manage disability applications, WSIB reporting and support early and safe return to work program.
- Responsible for site recruitment, selection, and onboarding activities.
- Responsible for completing and maintaining necessary excess hours of work agreements.
- Site support for all recognition programs. Maintain digital signage for site communications.
- Support positive employee relations through regular employee interactions, lunch and learn activates, site updates as necessary.
- Support site communication and compliance in relation to People & Culture policies and practices. A resource for department managers to ensure consistent application of all practices across the stie.
- Work with site leadership team to ensure quality completion of performance check in processes.
- Support Stay Interview initiatives.
- Support business unit and corporate People & Culture projects as requested.
- Other duties and responsibilities aligned to business goals and objectives.
