Job Title: Returns Coordinator

Department: Customer Service

Reporting to: Order Processing Manager

Location: Shelbyville, KY (ON-SITE)


Greenfield is looking for a Returns Coordinator to join our growing team. 


The primary focus of the Returns Coordinator is to handle all domestic returns and assist with customer issue communication emails.  This role requires a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.  Accuracy and thoroughness are crucial in this position.

Your Experience Should Include: 

  • Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment
  • 2-5 years of experience for Greenfield Global preferred
  • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Ability to work very well with others 
  • Extremely detail oriented, organized, accurate, and thorough
  • Great record keeping and time management skills

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Customer Issue Communication (QA129) emails and arrange returns based on approvals
  • Work with accounting to issue credits for non-return related issues
  • Communicate with customer to obtain information required to initiate return 
  • Arrange return with carrier/logistics manager
  • Follow all Federal Regulations and conditions surrounding returns procedures 
  • Assist with Off Bond material tracking/reshipment 
  • Work closely with external warehouse staff and multiple departments until all returns are closed/credited – substantial interdepartmental communication 
  • Ensure all correspondence is properly documented 
  • Setup and maintenance of return workflows in D365
  • Resolution of freight billing issues between carriers and customers
  • Customer account maintenance (updating notes or customer item lists as needed)
