As an ERP support analyst, you are the first line help and assistance to super-users and end-users.  Your role is to provide prompt support on system usage, investigate reported incidents, provide guidance with respect to standards, policies and best practices meeting the company and IT department objectives.  Your extensive expertise, practical experience and deep business knowledge will be an asset to succeed in this role.  You will be a key participant in optimizing the continuous improvement and rollout of SAP by working closely with business analysts in the preparation and maintenance of training guides, procedures, and instructions.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day support needed to assist super-users and end-users with our SAP system (specifically on MM & VIM).
  • Ability to analyze, understand, resolve, or work towards mitigation of problem and issues, as well as work towards solution ideas to all levels.
  • Ability to deep dive SAP to expose the facts for root cause analysis and be able to clearly present findings or recommendations to peers/management and project team.
  • Handle incoming support issues via a ticketing system and keep a high level of satisfaction from internal customers with respect to our SLA.
  • Help create and deliver documentation formalizing SAP changes such as support tickets, program specifications, process flows, training material.
  • Provide training to super-user and users as required.
  • Adopt a coaching approach with internal customers when system usage is in cause.
  • Identifying the operational difficulties due to system constraints/issues that the employees face in their daily operations and work towards mitigation strategies with management and project team.
  • Participate in special projects by helping gathering requirements, documenting and testing as required.
  • Responsible for assessing training, in respect to adoption and absorption.
  • Proactively work with site management to maintain the system skill and proficiency levels within end users in using the SAP system
  • Complies with applicable IT operating procedures & policies
  • Periodically requires work outside normal business hours based on needs

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar role, SAP support experience required.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent client support skills. 
  • Bilingualism in English and French considered an asset.
