Reports to: Director, Talent Acquisition

Location: Toronto, ON (Remote)

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a motivated and personable Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our Human Resources team in Toronto. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will provide administrative support and project assistance to the Recruitment team and Hiring Managers.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Coordinate a smooth and efficient interview process for all candidates
  • Manage all job postings on our internal and external job boards
  • Prepare and send offer letters and other candidate correspondence
  • Creation and distribution of hiring reports
  • Coordinate and manage the Postmedia co-op program
  • Monitor AskHR, a one-stop shop for employee HR related questions
  • Manage background and reference checks via our service provider Certn
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times
  • Identify opportunities for improving candidate experience and scheduling efficiency
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects as required

 

Who you are:

  • Minimum of 1 year of HR/administrative related work experience
  • Proficient usage of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Experience working with HRIS systems (Dayforce preferred)
  • Strong prioritization and time management skills, sense of urgency
  • Attention to detail
  • Top-notch organizational skills and teamwork
  • The ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times
  • Post-secondary education in a related field is preferred but not essential
