The Opportunity:

Account Managers at Postmedia provide value to our clients through improving and executing processes that drive on-time deliverables, and a quality of work that exceeds client expectations. We are seeking someone who ‘gets” digital to serve as an Account Manager. Someone who understands data and is a great storyteller. The Account Manager is a client-facing role, responsible for coordinating and planning campaigns as well as monitoring performance. The ideal candidate is a Marketer with a working knowledge of digital marketing. They take it upon themselves to stay current on industry trends. This person is a self-starter, organized and solutions-driven who works well with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

 

What you'll do:

· Lead client relationships and manage the overall account management process for your assigned accounts.

· Demonstrate thought leadership and confidence as the day-to-day voice of Company.

· Use a variety of analytics tools for monitoring and reporting of marketing campaigns

· Acquire in-depth knowledge of each clients’ business including key issues, competitive situation and industry trends

· Demonstrate good judgment, ability to foresee potential issues, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

· Effectively present the agency’s POV, recommendations, and deliverables to a range of client industries and objectives.

· Work alongside other Account Managers and Leadership to create roadmaps, plan strategic initiatives & lead optimization efforts to hit client goals and targets.

· Ability to use data, industry insights to recommend new opportunities for clients

 

Who you are:

· 2+ years’ account management experience in agency environment or client-side digital marketing experience required

· Knowledge in SEO, SEM, Paid social and digital marketing programs (e.g. Print, Display, Social, media, email marketing)

· A passion for marketing and client service

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Able to work independently and efficiently to meet organizational goals

· Demonstrated organizational skills and extreme attention to detail.

· Deadline-oriented, and able to deliver high quality work to clients in a fast pace environment

· Excellent analytical, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills

· Experience with performance marketing (Paid Media, SEO, Social media marketing)

· Self-motivated, self-starter, able to independently execute in a fast-paced agency environment with rapidly changing priorities.
