Graphic Designer

Freson Bros., an Alberta-owned and operated fresh food retail chain, invites experienced Graphic Designers to apply for the Graphic Designer position. Based out of the Freson Bros. Operations Office in Stony Plain, this position provides support to our Marketing Team by working on all graphic aspects of our marketing initiatives.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience as a graphic designer

• Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite in a Mac OS platform

• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and creative skills

• Working knowledge of communication methods and graphic art techniques

• Strong understanding of design and print principles

• Excellent attention to detail and collaboration skills

• Ability to balance multiple projects and handle complex tasks in a fast-paced environment

• Proficiency in Google Suite

• Ability to work in-office

• Basic web design skills an asset

Most importantly, the willingness and enthusiasm for continuous learning and development.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Create various visual concepts that align with the Freson Bros. brand

• Communicate and collaborate with the team to come together and complete requests and projects in a timely manner

• Optimize media for third-party platforms

• Design print media and branding materials such as posters, newsletters, flyers, labels, and packaging

• Research trends and make recommendations for improved and engaging content

• Convey ideas and opinions to the team contributing to an open and integrated working environment

• Maintain comprehensive plans and programs that contribute to meeting company goals and objectives

• Reports to the Creative Specialist

Position Details:

• Position Type: Full Time

• Work Environment: In-Person, Stony Plain Operations Office

• Salary Range: $50,000-$60,000
