Line Cook

Do you have a passion for cooking and preparing food? Freson Bros., an Alberta-owned and operated fresh food retail chain, invites individuals who appreciate the craft of cooking to apply for the position of Line Cook in Hinton, Alberta.                                                   

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of the basic principles of food preparation, various cooking methods, and food safety regulations
• Experience as a prep cook or line cook is preferred
• Warm and welcoming personality 
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Can prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
• Comfortable working during peak food-retail hours (evenings, weekends and holidays)
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds

Role and Responsibilities:

• Cook and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes
• Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food products
• Team Member training and coaching
• Maintain a clean and sanitized work area
• Properly store food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
• Handling customer service inquiries and providing exceptional customer service
• Embrace and champion the use of real ingredients to produce real food

Position Details:

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Location: Hinton, Alberta - Hinton Hill Location
• Wage: $15.00 - $20.00 / hour
