Job Title: Professor – Information Technology and Cybersecurity

Department: Centre of Computing and Information Technology

Contract Duration: January 6, 2025 to April 18, 2025

The following teaching need is required for in-class delivery:

CIS163 – Introduction to Object Oriented C++ - 4 hours per week

CIS373 – Introduction to Game Programming - 4 hours per week

CST170 – Basic Administration of Microsoft Windows Server - 4 hours per week

CST325 – Microsoft Azure Administration - 4 hours per week

CYB135 – Programming & Database Security - 3 hours per week 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in computer science and/or related field to the course outlined
• Previous post-secondary teaching experience informed by excellence with various learning

theories and methods

• Highly effective communication, presentation, and organizational skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of student success strategies in a post-secondary setting
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in learning management systems as well as the use of remote delivery and educational technologies
• Previous teaching experience is an asset

DUTIES:

• Plan, deliver and evaluate effective learning related to outlined courses
• Work closely with students and colleagues to provide an optimal learning environment
• Perform all responsibilities associated with the learning environment including preparation, delivery, and evaluation of theory and practical learning activities
