Experiential Learning

Temporary Part-Time – November 4, 2024 - 8 months

Up to 24 hours/week; $20.19/hour

College Drive Campus – North Bay, ON

 

DEADLINE: Friday, September 20, 2024 – 12:00 p.m.

 

Under the leadership of the Manager, Experiential Learning (EL), the Project Assistant (PA) will support key initiatives to establish the EL Department as an institutional hub and resource for excellence in EL.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum two year diploma in Office Administration or related discipline
  • Minimum two years of experience working within settings such as education, office administration, or related environment
  • Experience developing informational and promotional content
  • Demonstrated high level of proficiency with computer applications including but not limited to Microsoft Office 365: Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and MS Teams
  • Sound judgement and problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and work on multiple tasks simultaneously
  • In-person, on-site position; must be able to reliably commute and/or relocate to North Bay, ON

 

DUTIES:

  • Develop resources for faculty to support quality EL delivery
  • Develop tools to capture planned and delivered EL data
  • Develop content and collaborate with Marketing on an improved EL microsite
  • Facilitate the promotion and celebration of EL internally and externally in collaboration with the Marketing department
  • Support the planning and delivery of professional development training in EL for faculty
  • Meet with faculty and other parties of interest to support the planning, delivery, and documenting of curricular and co-curricular EL activities
  • Facilitate the documentation of planned and delivered EL activities across the college
  • Record, review, and analyze data and make recommendations based on identified gaps to improve the overall applied learning experience of students
  • Other duties as assigned
