Canadore College is hiring! We are looking to fill the Temporary Part-Time role of Technician for the School of Art and Design. This is an in-person, on-campus opportunity at the College Drive Campus in North Bay, ON.

Temporary Part-Time – Up to 24 hours/week - $18.84/hour
August 19, 2024 to December 13, 2024

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Two (2) year Diploma with a focus on Acting for Stage and Screen or equivalent
- Minimum of three years’ experience as a media specialist in a video/audio environment that includes video, audio, broadcasting
- Strong knowledge of networks and computers, broadcast, and digital film technologies
- Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with others
- Ability to interact with students, faculty, and staff
DUTIES:
- Setup of equipment, props, stages, and materials as required by program productions
- Demonstrate fight techniques, populate visual aids and guides to various techniques and resources for Faculty
- Facilitate filming, replay and editing of reels
- Provide technical support for the operation of the G Wing Theatre with lights and sound
- Assist with all aspects of the production for Theatre Canadore from creation of the set, setup, rehearsals, execution and tear down.
- Other duties as assigned
