Canadore College is hiring! We are looking to fill teaching needs within the School of Art & Design. This is an in-person, on-campus opportunity at the College Drive Campus in North Bay, ON.

The following teaching needs are required for the Broadcasting Television and Video Production Program.  Click on the link to review the course outline:

TEL110 - Studio Production I Two Sections - (4 hours per week) Tuesdays 5:00-8:50 pm and/or (4 hours per week) Tuesdays 12:30-4:20 pm

TEL306 - Live Event Production I (4 hours per week) Wednesdays 9:30-11:20 am & 12:30-2:20 pm

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Broadcasting TV and/or related field to the course outlined
• Previous post-secondary teaching experience informed by excellence with various learning theories and methods
• Highly effective communication, presentation, and organizational skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of student success strategies in a post-secondary setting
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in learning management systems as well as the use of remote delivery and educational technologies
• Previous teaching experience is an asset

DUTIES:

• Plan, deliver and evaluate effective learning related to the course(s)
• Work closely with students and colleagues to provide an optimal learning environment
• Perform all responsibilities associated with the learning environment including preparation, delivery, and evaluation of theory and practical learning activities
