Canadore College is hiring! We are looking to fill the role of Regular Part-Time Clerk . This is an in-person, on-campus opportunity at the West Parry Sounds Campus in Parry Sound, ON.

Regular Part-Time

Up to 24 hours/week - $18.84/hour

QUALIFICATIONS:

• College diploma or certificate in a relevant field or equivalent
• Minimum 1-2 years of recent office administration experience
• Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and work on multiple tasks simultaneously
• Sound judgment and problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Demonstrated proficiency with computer and office technology; Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.) required
• Must be able to reliably commute to West Parry Sound Campus

DUTIES:

• Provide front-line customer services including reception duties, clerical support, rental, and event site preparation for the Parry Sound Campus
• Develop housing, transportation, and employment resources for students and visitors
• Provide intergenerational programming support
• Data collection and organization for in-demand courses and department reporting
• Maintain float and petty cash
• Provide navigational support to campus students and visitors
• Provide intercultural support for students and visitors
• Student-facing activities and other duties as assigned
